Course Content
The Course Content area contains the basic text of your course (equivalent to "lectures" in a traditional course). At the start of each module, as specified in the syllabus, read this material carefully to better understand the background of the particular "lesson" of the module.
Like many of the documents in your course, materials are arranged in folders, each representing one specific module (see Figure 6 below). A module has its own goals, objectives, and assessments (i.e. assignments or activities). In some SL&IT courses objectives may be replaced by essential questions. In either case, the syllabus should elaborate course goals and the contents of each module.

This area is optional and may not appear in every course, or your instructor may name this section differently. Regardless of name, the Documents area provides a convenient place to view or download such supporting documents as forms, templates, graphic organizers, illustrations, lesson plans and detailed rubrics for individual assignments. Your instructor will add items as needed and will generally inform you in an announcement or assignment where to retrieve a specific document. Many courses will arrange these documents in descriptive sub-folders for better organization.
