Are there any more scholarship monies available?
The Building Leaders Scholarships are funded by a federal government agency, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, through a competitive grant process. It is a three-year grant beginning October 2007 and ending in December 2010. Most scholarship monies will be allocated during the first six months of the grant so that students would have time to complete the Master’s degree program in three years.
Mansfield University continues to seek additional scholarship funds which will be announced on our School Library & Information Technologies Portal page (http://library.mansfield.edu/). If you are interested, please check that page frequently or feel free to contact Mr. Chris Vaughn, Director of New Student Financial Planning, Mansfield University, to learn more about financial aid and loans (cvaughn@mansfield.edu / 800-577-6826).
What exactly does the Building Leaders scholarship money cover?
Successful applicants who receive a Building Leaders scholarship receive a 50 or 75 percent tuition reduction. The reduction is applied directly to the student’s in-state or out-of-state tuition rate before tuition bills are mailed.
The scholarship money applies to any School Library & Info Technologies graduate courses that are taken during any semester or summer session up to December 31, 2010. Students, however, must pay the separate Education and Technology fees each semester. Current fees are listed at:

(refer to the online course section).
